Urinary Tract Infection Treatment
Urinary Tract Infections are common in children, teens and adults. Your urinary tract is key in carrying urine and toxins out of the body.
When germs get into your system, it can cause an infection. Most urinary tract infections are centered around the bladder and are not serious. If it spreads to your kidneys, it can be more serious. At Northern Urology, we are here to help diagnose your UTI early on and treat it effectively. UTI’s can be diagnosed through a urine sample and treatment of fluids and antibiotics can help you quickly recover.
A UTI is more likely to occur if you do not have enough fluid intake in your body, have diabetes or are pregnant. UTI’s can be recurring and may need additional treatment.
