Northern Regional Hospital Rebrand
The transition of the Northern Hospital of Surry County name to Northern Regional Hospital is a more accurate reflection of the comprehensive breadth, depth, and scope of the hospital’s high-quality clinical capabilities, as well as, its significantly expanded footprint that now includes attracting patients and employees from the Northwest Piedmont area and neighboring communities in Southwest Virginia. A strong new name demands a strong new logo to represent the new story of Northern Regional.
Understanding the Logo
Symbolizing the beautiful scenery that surrounds Northern Regional Hospital, the colors and shapes are a reflection of the endless rolling Blue Ridge Mountains, flowing rivers and streams of the foothill and mountain communities where we live and serve.
The shape is a compass navigational point. A symbol for guidance and the ability to point one in the right direction.
The arrow points North. The direction of pointing North signifies home and security, helping guide our patients on the path to better health.
The classic navy blue color represents our home base, the Hospital. This shade of blue symbolizes elements of security, knowledge, and loyalty.
The lighter shade of blue signifies our outpatient area of the hospital and our physician clinics. This color represents trustworthiness, a focus on one-to-one communication, and healing.
This earthy, bright green symbolizes the state of physical health and well-being which we strive to help our patients achieve. The color green stands for knowledge and understanding, along with wellness and growth.
