OB-GYN specialist Michael Gentry, MD, has joined Northern Hospital of Surry County and Northern Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Gentry joins Druery DeVore, MD and nurse practitioners Molly Easter and Katie Haspeslagh.
Finishing top of his class at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he completed an extensive residency program in obstetrics and gynecology. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2013, and completed his undergraduate studies four years earlier at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
“My family and I are very excited to have become a part of this community,” said Dr. Gentry. “I look forward to building patient relationships with a wide range of women’s health needs and being a partner in the journeys of moms-to-be.” In addition to enjoying time with his family, Dr. Gentry is an avid cyclist and plays basketball, tennis and guitar. He and his family reside in Mount Airy, NC.
