About Obstetrics & Gynecology

We are conveniently located just blocks from Northern Regional at 510 S. South Street.  Our practice has been serving Surry County and surrounding communities for over 50 years, offering comprehensive care for women’s health.

Northern OBGYN’s highly trained and specialized staff of doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses will meet all your medical needs and provide you with a comfortable, caring environment. Our goal is to understand and meet the unique healthcare concerns of women. 

Our services range from yearly preventative care exams to full service obstetrics including access to both breastfeeding and childbirth classes through Northern Regional Hospital. We will be there to guide you each step of the way.  In order to meet any other needs you may have our practice offers diagnostic, treatment and surgical options for problems ranging from cancer or menopause to incontinence and infertility.

Northern Obstetrics and Gynecology is an accredited Ultrasound Practice by the AIUM Ultrasound Practice Accreditation Council. AIUM accredited practices meet or exceed nationally recognized standards in the performance and interpretation of diagnostic ultrasound examinations.

Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Same day appointments are available.

Our providers are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have a need after office hours, please call 336-719-7000 and ask that your question be directed to the physician on call.

Visitor Restrictions Update: Effective February 10, 2026

Due to community transmission of influenza and COVID-19, Northern Regional Hospital is strongly encouraging masks for all visitors.

Visitors should postpone their visit if they have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, a cough, sore throat, and/or a fever of 100 degrees or higher. Visitors should be free of symptoms and fever for at least 24 hours. If visitors are actively coughing but have no other symptoms, they should be offered a mask.
