Olivia R. Basile, PA-C, has joined the clinical team of Northern Family Medicine in Dobson, NC, a division of Northern Regional Hospital. There, she will diagnose and treat adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of clinical conditions that require her expertise.
Born and raised in Kings Mountain, a city just west of Charlotte, Basile brings a unique perspective and a commitment to exceptional patient care. Growing up in a family of pharmacists, Basile spent her formative years in her father’s pharmacy, where she later worked as a pharmacy technician throughout high school. This early exposure to healthcare ignited her passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives. While navigating her path in the medical field, Basile considered various options, ultimately deciding on the role of a Physician Assistant (PA-C). This choice is driven by her aspiration to bridge healthcare gaps in underserved communities.
Basile says her approach to patient care is marked by an unwavering commitment to treating everyone equally, regardless of their circumstances or background. She is dedicated to ensuring all patients feel valued, heard, and well-cared for. Building patient-provider relationships founded on trust, transparency, and optimism is at the core of her practice.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of the Dobson community and to provide personalized care at Northern Family Medicine,” said Basile. “I look forward to building relationships with my patients and helping them achieve their health goals in a welcoming and supportive environment.”
She holds a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from High Point University and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, with a minor in Spanish, from the same institution.
In her spare time, Olivia enjoys gardening and tending to houseplants, culinary exploration, coffee, diving into books, and embarking on a musical journey by learning to play the guitar.
