Critical Care Expertise
With a dedicated unit located on the 4th floor, our 10-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is staffed to provide a critical level of care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The nurse-patient ratio is individualized based on severity of illness or injury. Our staff of highly-skilled nurses provide continuous, compassionate care during this critical stage of the patient’s illness.
Step-Down Unit Provides Individualized Care
Our 12-bed Stepdown Unit (SDU), located next to the ICU, is staffed to provide an intermediate level of care for patients who are more stabilized, but need closer observation for a period of time set by the physician. The nurse-patio ratio is based on severity of illness at a lower level than the ICU. Stepdown Unit staff consist of highly-skilled registered nurses and assistants who provide individualized care.
Both units maintain capability to manage critical care patients with state-of-the-art cardiac monitoring systems.
