Located in Mount Airy, North Carolina, Northern Medical Group is a robust and well established 40 member multi-specialty group practice including Family Medicine, General Surgery, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Urology, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Pain Management, and Hospitalists.
Northern Medical Group –Gastroenterology is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our current practice. Our practice is looking for a physician to join our group who will be ready to hit the ground running, to continue to expand the already stellar patient base and reputation, and build a solid career as a member of our team.
Northern Regional Hospital is one of Mount Airy’s largest employers. The hospital has 133 beds and offers state-of-the-art surgical services facility with integrated digital operating rooms, caring surgeons, anesthesia team, and staff with expanded services and streamlined patient care.
The practice is located approximately 1.5 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 hours from Raleigh, and 45 minutes from Greensboro. Winston-Salem is a short 30 minute drive away for more exclusive shopping and dining experiences. Population in Mount Airy is around 10,000. Surry County has just over 73,000 citizens and the primary service area of NMG is 80,000+.
Call rotation would be 1:2. This opportunity offers competitive compensation with a base salary plus a wRVU productivity based bonus along with full benefits and relocation assistance.
