“Known for her transformational leadership style and unwavering transparency, Joy consistently prioritizes the well-being of our hospital, our team, and, above all, our patients,” said Robin H. Hodgin, Interim President and CEO. “She inspires those around her to strive for excellence and leads with integrity, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to doing what is right.”
Gilman shared, “It is an honor to serve alongside such a dedicated team of caregivers. I look forward to advancing our culture of excellence and continuing to put patients and families at the center of everything we do.”
Joy earned her master’s degree in nursing administration from Liberty University in July 2022 and holds certification as a nursing leader through the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, further underscoring her dedication to professional growth and lifelong learning. She and her husband, J.R., are proud parents to four children: Noah, Maggie, Makenna, and Nash.
Please join us in congratulating Joy on this well-deserved promotion. We are excited for the continued impact of her leadership as she steps into this vital executive role.
