Mount Airy, NC – Griffin Basile, Physician Assistant (PA-C), has joined the medical staff of Northern Orthopaedics to serve as a Physician Assistant for orthopedic injuries and conditions.
Basile earned his Master’s in Physician Assistant studies from High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. Before this, he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the same institution.
Growing up in Alpharetta, Georgia, Basile developed a compassion for others. His interest in medicine was sparked by witnessing his grandmother’s battle with pancreatic cancer. This life-changing event ignited his drive to pursue a healthcare career. His history as a former athlete positions him to understand the needs of young athletes in the community.
He is dedicated to ensuring that every patient has a comprehensive range of treatment options, working collaboratively to select a plan that aligns with their goals and expectations.
Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Robert Williamson commented on Griffin’s arrival, stating, “Griffin’s commitment to patient-centered care and his knowledge in orthopedics make him an invaluable addition to our team. Outside of medical pursuits, Griffin has a range of hobbies, including woodworking, gardening, exercise, and cooking. Above all, he shares a love for coffee, from exploring new coffee bean varieties to personally roasting his blends at home.
