Mount Airy, NC – Griffin Basile, Physician Assistant (PA-C), has joined the medical staff of Northern Orthopaedics to serve as a Physician Assistant for orthopedic injuries and conditions.
Basile earned his Master’s in Physician Assistant studies from High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. Before this, he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the same institution.
Growing up in Alpharetta, Georgia, Basile developed a compassion for others. His interest in medicine was sparked by witnessing his grandmother’s battle with pancreatic cancer. This life-changing event ignited his drive to pursue a healthcare career. His history as a former athlete positions him to understand the needs of young athletes in the community.
He is dedicated to ensuring that every patient has a comprehensive range of treatment options, working collaboratively to select a plan that aligns with their goals and expectations.
Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Robert Williamson commented on Griffin’s arrival, stating, “Griffin’s commitment to patient-centered care and his knowledge in orthopedics make him an invaluable addition to our team. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our patients.”
Outside of medical pursuits, Griffin has a range of hobbies, including woodworking, gardening, exercise, and cooking. Above all, he shares a love for coffee, from exploring new coffee bean varieties to personally roasting his blends at home.
