[Mount Airy, NC] – Northern Urology, a division of Northern Regional Hospital, is excited to announce that Courtney Hall, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, has joined its team of healthcare professionals. In this new role, Courtney will work alongside Dr. David Werle, Dr. Leighton Lee III, and Cindy V. White, FNP-C, to provide exceptional care to patients in the community.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, TN, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
“I’m excited to welcome Courtney to the Northern Urology team,” said Dr. Leighton Lee, urologist at Northern Urology. “Her extensive nursing background, patient-centered approach, and commitment to compassionate care align perfectly with the values we uphold here at Northern Urology. We’re excited to work alongside her to continue improving the health and well-being of our patients.”
“My healthcare journey has always been driven by a desire to serve and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” says Hall. “I have always admired my aunt’s work in hospice care, which inspired my path in nursing. Over the years, my passion has only grown, and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner has allowed me to deepen my knowledge and skills to better serve my community.”
Courtney’s patient care philosophy centers on providing compassionate and individualized treatment. “I believe that each patient is more than just a condition—they are unique individuals with their own stories, experiences, and needs,” she explains. By treating patients with dignity, listening to their concerns, and building trust, we can truly make a difference in their health and well-being.”
Her decision to join Northern Urology is inspired by the opportunity to work with a team that shares her commitment to comprehensive care. “Urology is such a dynamic field, and I’m excited to apply my skills to various conditions. What excites me most is the chance to educate patients and their families. Knowledge empowers people and helps to alleviate the fear and stigma often associated with urological conditions. Northern Urology’s focus on patient-centered care aligns perfectly with my values.”
Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She also loves reading, traveling, and exploring new places.
Northern Urology is proud to welcome Courtney Hall, FNP-C, to the team and is confident she will positively impact the patients and the community.
